A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - Other
Description: VERSION 1.10 12-23-2002
Two additinal air files are available, it was designed by Philip Vlaicu (Philip.zip) and James Banks (JBanks.zip). 1% air file is available from AvHistory.org
Features: Sliding canopy - activated by using the "shift C" key/
User paintable gunsight (you can use the one in the TEXTURE subdirectory - GUNSIGHT64.BMP)
All art work are painted by Alessandro Biagi. The 2D cockpit panel is painted by Philip Vlaicu.
The spinning propeller BMP file is painted by Bruno Duffort.
The 3D interior cockpit BMP files are modified from the stock CFS1 aircraft.
In order to use the weapons, you need to download the bombs (WEP) from "Martin Wright" at http://www.fly.to/mwgfx/ (http://www.fly.to/mwgfx/)
This is a copyrighted freeware program. FREE DISTRIBUTION ONLY. You may upload or post this unmodified aircraft to any web sites. This program can not be posted where a fee of any kind is required or even nagged for. This includes disk distribution or any other kind of fees. It can not be included in a commercial package.
You are encouraged to tinker with the air file, dp file and painting schemes.
After all, that is half the fun of owning CFS2. You may upload the modified aircraft (without the gauges) to any web sites under the following agreement:
1. You list me as the designer, Alessandro biagi and Philip Vlaicu for all the art work.
2. Use a new aircraft folder name, do not use the aircraft folder name "AW IAR80".
3. Use a new aircraft name, do not use the aircraft name "AW I.A.R. 80B".
4. You need to include this unmodified README file.
The instrument panel gauges used in this aircraft are owned by, and the copyright of Just Flight Ltd, and are used by Philip Vlaicu with exceptional permission from Just Flight Ltd. No use or distribution of these gauges or any of their code in any other project or software is allowed whatsoever. Any copyright infringements of theses items will be will strictly enforced.
