Hi all,

I have a question for you guys that have this bird (tacpacked version). Can you drop the weapons if you haven't got tacpack enabled but have it installed?

Regards
Dale

I haven't tried it with the A10, but in my TacPack experience I'd say "no". Depending on how the aircraft is coded, the weapons may disappear from the aircraft, but once it's left the aircraft the weapon is under TacPack control.

No you can't. I have my TPM set up to prompt me when FSX loads, if I hit "no", I can't even fly the Rhino. The A-10 and other models like Dino's will work, just no weapons.

I don't know in FSX, but in P3D the latest version of the A-10 can at least show the weapons, thanks to a loadout manager. I am precisely in that situation, because I use P3Dv3 and TacPack is not available for this sim.
However, these weapons can't be dropped/fired, and all weapon systems are unavailable. It's just for display on the plane.
