I hate to tell you this, when i want to fly it, the dreaded CTD (crash to desktop) happens.

Is there a way to fix that problem?

What kind of crash? and in what? FF, QC, Missions? Is it a ture CTD or is CFS2 frezzing up?

The aircraft won't work in Win7+ as the panel will cause CFS2 frezzing up.

Free flight. It is a true ctd, allen.

Hey! I found a solution! All you have to do is to copy and paste the original fs2004 dc-3 panel.
If the computer asks you to overwrite, click yes.

If I want to fly a different plane from the same addon, it might do a ctd though. So I am confused abut what to do.

I think the plane needs a windows 7+ safe panel.

Alot of the old things do. simonu made this pack and he hasn't been around in years. I think the last time I saw him it was before Win7 came out!

There are 3 ways to fix the panel for Win7+

1. Make a 640x480 and set things up like the stock aircraft in the panel.cfg.
2. Resize the current 1024x780 to 640x480.
3. Open the panel.cfg and remove all render_3d_window=1 from the panel.cfg.

3. would be best as it take the least work to do!

Grab a panel from any stock aircraft. If the CTD still happens than it is related to the model.

I will do that.

I pulled a panel from your ac-47 spooky... No CTD! I think it truly is a panel problem.

I found there error. It is the SPERRY.MARKIII gauge on the 2D panel. I going to guess you fly full screen? It worked fine in windowed screen but when I went full screen (Alt+Enter to change between Full Screen and Windowed) it crashed.

I knew I quit using the SPERRY.MARKIII gauge because it had a prob but I forgot why tell now. It CTDs. I use XP SP3 and it crashes.

I'm attaching a new panel set up that should fix things for good. Take the files in the zip and put them into the panel folder.

If they work let me know so I can see if Rami will update the main download with the files so no one else has this prob!

All is well. Thanks, Allen. Don't forget to let Rami know to update the cfs2 conversion of the fs2004 dc-3.
