Hi guys;
Just finished reading a new book titled "Devotion". Great book!!!!! It is a real account of flying the Corsairs on strikes in the Korean War along the Yalu, providing air cover during the Marine "attacking in another direction" at the Chosin Reservoir and for Hill 891 (books on this are covered in "Last Stand of Fox Company and "Give me Tomorrow", also great books!). Won't ruin the book "Devotion" for you but the pilot being interviewed received the Medal of Honor for his act of devotion to a fellow pilot that day.
If you can get it!!! I got it from the local area library on my Kindle.

It sounds like a good read. I've read a lot about the Chosin when doing research on the RAAF 77sqd. They were another group who helped support the Marine's in thier rear ward advance.

...the RAAF support was mentioned in the book "Last stand of Fox Company" a being invaluable to them in their fight for survival.
