Just a point of reference, this thread is to announce sales for anything FSX. It is not intended to be used for comments about the products. If someone wants to critique a product, that should be done in the FSX forum under the title for that product. The purpose of this thread is to give everyone a quick and easy heads up for what is one sale. Tim had a great idea and I am sure this is what he had in mind.

Concerning the sales at Simmarket, P3D users should take a close look.
Although the offerings for v3 are quite limited, the ones for v2 are full of jewels. For example, the RAZBAM Metroliner bundle FSX/P3D is currently at -80% price :dizzy:

Normally, if you buy a model and bundle Accusim with it.. you get Accusim at a discount. However, in this sale.. Accusim is cheaper if you buy it separately.. 25% off an individual product is cheaper than the bundle discount. I just received an email from Captain Sim and it says that they are having a 24 hour sale only at the online store. They say everything is Euro 9.99.
Sale starts at 00:00 UTC 12th January and lasts until 23:59 UTC 12th of January.
I just had a look at the website and a lot of products are on sale now for Euro 9.99, but it seems that everything including the base packs etc will be reduced to Euro 9.99 during the 24 hour sale.

I bought the Seahawk/Jayhawk pack a while back with the intention of doing some repaints for it. Beware.. despite a PK being advertised, there isn't one.

Not bad models in the grand scale of things. Not as tight as the Cera UH60 and the default paints are nowhere near as good (they're poor by comparison).

FYI, with all the many excellent Thanksgiving Week Sales going on, here's the one I capitalized on. I have wanted the Majestic Software Dash 8 Q400 for a good while but hesitated to spend premium $$$ on it and wait for a sale (last year it was available on sale at this time but I skipped over it. Around the same time the Pro Edition version came out and it's clearly very improved over the base Pilot Edition but being $90 at one site and right at $80 at another, I put buying it on the back burner. Okay, so with my boring preface story aside, both versions are on sale at PC Aviator and the Pro Edition is marked down 33% from $79.95 to $53.57. Right now they also are giving an extra 10% Tuesday Sale Discount (automatically added in at checkout). I had to jump on that plus I had a $5 off coupon from them which brought the grand total down to $43 & some change! Not a bad early holiday self-gift (probably the best I've ever encountered). The IRIS site was working again and I was able to download al my downloads.
However Google still warns that the site maybe is hacked if you google this site.
I think that it was the old certificated that they forgot to replace.
I think they should explain more to there customers about the reason, because I thought I lost the downloads forever.
IRIS also not responded to my e-mails about this issue.

Hi Frank. I have the PA36 and for low / slow tooling around the ORBX country side (like Sedona or Bonners Ferry) it's a fine aircraft. (In one of the default views, however, I have a missing / transparent texture. It is the view looking back at the pilot.) The PA36 is a simple stick and rudder heavy duty tail dragger and great for playing around those undeveloped air strips. Looking at the price I would conclude that it is worth the $12! Likely the only difference from the C188 is that there are no wing struts in your sight line.

I have the C-188B AgTruck and it is a quality addon. Great for low and slow flying to check out scenery or for a low and slow tour. Also good for spraying crops :untroubled:

I saw similar comments in a video review. At least about the cabin layout. Reviewer felt it would have been better with a more executive layout for four or six rather than packed seating.

Actually looks like the Alabeo maybe isn't out yet except mention on their website. It's not listed on PC Aviator or FS Pilotshop anyway.
Also have read some reviews and watched videos on the Milviz and aside from it being a few year old now I'm sort of thinking myself out of it.

The Aerosoft Beaver is now fairly old.
The Milviz Beaver is state of the art.
I have it and can recommend it as a simulation.

You can't have enough Beaver. LOL
I couldn't resist and bought today the Milviz DHC-2 and have now both.
What i like at the one, i missed at the other.
Aerosoft Beaver looks a little bit aged inside, against the Milviz version.
The Milviz Beaver has no pop up gauges,like GPS or other.
Anyway, if you have no Beaver until today, i recommended (imho) the
more state of the art Milviz version wich is now on 30%sale until saturday.
The Milviz works from FSX to P3DV4.
Aerosoft by default only for FSX and perhaps P3DV 1-3.

Carenado had their sale the second week of December last year. Holding back on many opportunities for that one

I got both the Arrows and shoe horned them into XML installs with no problems (truthfully the easiest done so far). Haven't tested them against the POH but overall pleasant to look at and fun to fly. Very full featured cockpits.
