Im guessing that is freeware? The Samdim site also shows http://samdimdesign.free.fr/HTML/An12/content_An12.html similar to the one @ SOH

Hi Grim!

There is a plenty of Russian planes here:

Samdim:
http://samdimdesign.free.fr/

Project Tupolev:
http://fs-proteam.com/

AvSim R US
http://www.avsimrus.com/files.phtml

or the original site (if Russian language isn't a barrier):
http://www.avsim.su/

It's worth to register onto that site (it's free). So the download speed becomes a lot better.

Also you can find them on the usual great sites like AvSim or FligthSim.

Hey guy, You can also fly the Yak 40 in its full VC glory. Look at simviation.com for the Yak 40, the A-14, the An-2, the tu-95 Bear, the tu-114 giant tuboprop & tu-126 Moss (Soviet AWACS).

Here is another beauty: check out the IL-96 widebody 4-tubofan jet in FSPlanet, in its VC glory. Vlad just came out with the beautiful An-12 with full VC. Get it from Avsim, and give thanks to Vlad.

All these are fantastic aircraft; get FS passengers and start your own Aeroflot in Russia.

Enjoy yourself.

...and the Foxbat.

IRIS has a nice set of Migs too, Flogger and Fulcrum (vanilla & Navy), have them all and really like them.

I have Captain Sims Mig21UM, it's very nice if not a little old (read, amazing for it's age), I do need to sort out the Reheat effect though time permitting. As 21's go I have the Lago single seater too, it's also nice, not sure if it's still available, the Lago site seems to have vanished along with any mention of them at SimMarket. So, the helos might not be available either.

AN-72/74 Samdim made a nice one a while back. Rudimentary VC but a very nice visual model.

My favorite Russian a/c by far is the Samdim Tu-114 package. It has a full virtual cabin in the civie variants and the included sound pack is pure joy! And to think it will be five years old this year!:applause:

There is at least the following Russian airplanes that work in FS2004 (all freeware and some of them from several authors)

Antonov: 2, 8, 10, 12, 14, 22, 24, 26, 30, 72, 74, 124, 140, 148, 225
Ilyushin: 2, DB-3, 4, 10, 14, 18, 28, 38, 62, 76, 86, 96
Tupolev: SB-2, 16, 22, 34, 95, 104, 114, 124, 126, 128, 134, 144, 154, 160, 204, 334

Mostly even numbers. Anyone know what's the magic in this?

Don't ask where to get them. I don't remember anymore/all of them. Most are available on sites mentioned above. I once found them from various sites by "googling", too.

Pekka

Edit: More Russian freeware aircrafts for FS2004:

Mikoyan Migs: 1, 3, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 29, 31, 37 (odd? odd numbers or is it so that fighters are mostly odd?)
Sukhois: 9, 11, 15, 17, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, 34, 35, 47
Yakovlev Yaks: 1, 3, 9, 12, 18, 22, 38, 40, 42, 52, 130

I have, have had or have seen those.

Be sure to get the An-14 Little Bee on the second page. It's got all sorts of little goodies in the virtual cabin!

Ilyushin:

Tupolev:

Cheers Pete!

I'll check it out - assuming I can get FS going again (on a brand new PC, and I get hit by d5D141.tmp .... :( !)
