Stumbled across this at Avsim earlier and IMHO, this scenery is a little gem and a half! File name: mwcl.zip by Gerome Bodden & Dave Hoeffgen. BTW, landing on this narrow strip is a slight bit of a challenge, especially since it's bowed/curved slightly in addition to the narrow surface and telephone poles on one side. Check it out & enjoy!

Okay, last ones. I'm pretty psyched about this scenery & will be enjoying it for my lower Caribbean runs.

Chief, the model is Flysimware's MU-2B-60. Perfect little bird for getting in and out of strips like that as well as having the range & speed to cover a good bit of distance in between (plus it's a blast to fly!). Also of note, there's a good companion scenery to go with the one above: MWCR - Owen Roberts International Airport, Cayman Islands v1.1 by Morten Thomas Van Der Linden.

Thanks for the info on the aircraft. And Morten makes great sceneries as well! NC

I think I screwed up my installing of this airport. I used the auto installer. Should I have directed it to scenery folders, or main FSX Steam/P3D directories?

Nothing is showing up. NC

Chief, from my own experience(as well as others), I am leery of some of these auto-installers. With this one, the default location is set at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Rather than point it to my main FSX folder and take a chance on the files ending up where they are supposed to(which sometimes they do not), I decided to create a temp folder on my desktop and aim the installer to that folder to extract the files for manual installation. Once you finish the install/extraction to the temp folder, inside that folder you'll see both Addon Scenery & Scenery folders which will contain both the airport (MWCL, to add into the FSX/Addon Scenery folder) and the scenery flatten/elevation bgl which will go into the FSX/World/Scenery folder & then perform the normal activation. I also extracted the files from the MWCL2015_Autogen (Optional).exe and manually installed them in the same manner.

Thanks Storm,

The thing is I KNOW how to do that, and have, hundreds of times....,but was lazy today!

Oh well, I will get it done sooner or later. Probably later! NC

Flew into here last November by Cayman Airways Twin Otter, the road along the side with the telephone poles is the main road on the island passing through the passenger 'terminal'

Roger that Chief, knew you had (I could've stopped at the words Manual Extraction/Installation), just trying to cover some newer users here as well if they ended up finding that this installer took them on a ride to nowhere(as they sometimes do). These installers usually bite me backside about 40% of the time. Old manual install habits die hard!

What I will need to do is manually install to temp dir (as I should have in the first place) and see what files are there, so I can go remove them from the initial install. Then do it correctly. NC
