Thanks for the report.
Years ago I did some off duty security at an Olive Garden and had to stay locked up in the place while contractors did their work. The manager told me I could eat anything in the kitchen that I wanted and showed me the dessert cart. They could've rolled me out of there the next morning:costumes: Dang I was full.

I can't seem to install them. I un-installed the old ones 8.12 and tried to install the new ones, but the computer just restarts like I havn't installed anything. :help:
I got the Radeon HD 4870 X2

What's a good driver removal tool?

I think this does the trick : http://www.drivercleaner.net/

Crap- Drivercleaner never used to be payware, I'm sure of it. Anyway it used to always do the trick but I'm sure a bit of Googling will bring links to freeware apps. Try guru3d.com too.

I've never uninstalled drivers, instead (as is the case with the 9.1's) I've just run the new driver setup utility, and that does it all.

The 9.1's seem to give me a performance boost. I'm using them with a 4870x2 and Vista64.

Sir Ben there are reports of that happening on the ATI web site too...No clue there as to why its happening ....

Try them in safe mode ..Make sure antivirus stuff is off too....
