Good afternoon,

Hey! I just wanted to pass along that in the past several weeks, I've been steadily sending files to our crew as I build up to some new campaign work. There has been some major GSL construction in the United Kingdom, as well as France and Norway.

In the past several weeks, I have done GSL work for the following cities...Bristol, (to supplement my original work on the Port of Avonmouth) Coventry, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Barrow-in-Furness, a massive overhaul of Liverpool, Portsmouth, Lerwick, Namsos, and Narvik, as well as Lowestoft. (formerly Great Yarmouth)

Other cities not included in the original Europe package that will be included in this new version include Ghent, Liege, Le Creusot, the Clyde, Genoa, and Turin.

Kdriver has also assisted me with the Coastal Command base of Oban in Scotland, and Calshot along The Solent. He has also created the bases of Beccles, Middleton St. George, Andalsnes, and Marham.

Tours was also corrected, as the original "Tours" was actually Angers, some 130km to the west of Tours.

Next stop...Hamburg.

Good afternoon,

I thought you might be interested in seeing what's taking so long. Hamburg is complete. the harbor and port areas of Hamburg and Harburg are about 65-70% complete.

John,

Thanks for the compliments! The biggest three problems I am having with this are...

1) Object count. If you include the city (which is on a separate layout) the total number of objects placed right now is 3,576. (Once I finish the docks, it will be between 4,500 and 5,000)

2) Laying down the grey piers alone and getting them to match up took days, involved a lot of eye strain, and foul language. :banghead:

3) Trying to come up with different formations and combinations for the warehouses and such is a lot of work, and add to that I am trying to avoid predictable patterns.

Good evening,

I finished Hamburg and Le Havre, but need a break for a couple of days or so.
