Finally spent some time finishing up the new "office" for my FS flying.
A big thank you to Jinkers (a long time friend, Virtual 352nd FG & Fightertown Design Group fellow member) for the inspiration to do it and for sharing his plans even though my setup wound up much modified from his design.
-The base is made out of 2x4s and 3/4" plywood. 2' wide and just over 4' long. It's carpeted in grey to match the second-hand Ford Tempo bucket seat bolted to it.
-Shelves are a couple 1'x4' pieces of MDF/laminate countertop material.
-Shelf uprights are some more 3/4" plywood.
Everything is recycled lumber except for the 2x4s.
-The Control setup is Saitek ProFlight. Yoke, pedals and an extra throttle quadrant for a total of 6 levers. Right now I have it set up for 4 engine throttles plus one common prop and one common mixture lever.
I am going to make some more permanent mounts for the quads. The original plastic clamps feel a little flimsy when I'm working all 4 throttle levers at the same time.
A few more shots available on my Flickr page.

With my FS machine reassembled and FS9 fired up:
I moved the throttle quads outward and down once I made a few laps around the pattern.
