I recently got a used computer I put a fresh copy of Vista ultimate (32 bit) on it, it will not shut down. OS and Bios is up to date. Any thoughts? :dizzy:

Motherboard: Intel DQ35JO
Intel Duo Core: E8400 3.0 GHz
Ram 4 GB

Open event viewer and see what is running causing it to not shut down. Or event logs....

Check device manager...see if nothing's got an exclamation mark....ie. unknown device...driver not installed...etc.
