Last week, the manager of the research library at the Naval Aviation Museum died suddenly while at work. Curt Lawson had been with the museum for many years, and he was the first person to help me get started on volunteer work there. Very knowledgeable person, and a great guy. He was a USMC pilot, having flown among other types, the A-6 Intruder. He was shot down over Vietnam, and evaded capture for many hours, while still directing strikes to various targets. NC

He will be greatly missed. Here is his obituary:

Rest in Peace indeed. Thanks for posting this. I am always sorry when I read these things not to have had the opportunity to personally know these great men.
