Two questions, gents :

#1. Anyone know what happend/happens to 'Racing Legends ' ? ..... Has the development been abandonned ?... Last news i picked up is a report from one of the devs. It's from January 2004....

#2. Has the Bugatti Veyron possibly been developed for any of todays racing games ?

Any answers highly appreciated !

Cheers,
Jan

Racing Legends seem to have fallen off the face of the earth Jan!
Check it out at the above link.
October 2003 ...........................!!

No idea about the 'Bugatti' Veyron from my sphere of interest, but Ferry might have an idea.
Have a look here.

Last I've hears a version for GTR2 is in the works too.

Too bad neither sim can handle the more advanced four-wheel systems found on todays' cars.

No clue why i couldn't find it at rFactor...

And what's more, also could download what i was wondering about if it might be available : the Top Gear test track ! Gonna be great playing the Stick ! :)

Always wondered what airfield it is... Dunsfold Aerodrome, great to know ! Is it still in use for aircraft too you think ?...

Thanks also, Wombat ! Too bad that it looks like development of Racing Legends seems to have been discontinued. The few WIP screenshots look amazing !

Probabely another great effort down the drain.... :faint:

Anyway, i can drive my precious Veyron now, be it only beta.

Great surprise !! Thanks a lot again, Ferry, knew i came to the right place. :woot:

Cheers,
Jan

Dunsfold is still an active airfield, yes, but I'm not sure of its licensing status. You see all sorts of odd aircraft that chop and change in the background of Top Gear shoots and there are no 'X's on the runways, but it's not listed as a licensed aerodrome on the CAA Air Information Publications site (http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php%3Foption=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=6&Itemid=13.html)

I know there are a couple of 4WD "native" cars in GTRe - plus I thought the STCC had 4WD competitors? How does the RACE07/GTRe engine deal with it?

P.S. It's The Stig, not The Stick... ;)
