Aircraft: Pitcairn-PCA-2 Autogiro by Golden Age Simulations
Payware aircraft released by Flight1 Software. FSX and FS2004 Versions.

There are three different models in the Payware pack: PCA-2, PCA-2 Cropduster and XOP-1 (military version)

We thought that this aircraft was a unique vintage aircraft and therefore the Ford Tri-Motor Project Team has created some additional soon to be released FREE Liveries for this aircraft.

There was a considerably small number of these aircraft in the real world - which the Golden Age Simulations Team have just about covered in their released version, so all of our repaints are "flights of fancy" fun liveries.

We have created a suite of 24 sets of textures scattered across all three models. Includes a blank texture set for each model for anyone who wants to pump out some of their own repaints for this unique aircraft.

We have a little bit of cleaning up to do with the texture sets and then have to set them up for downloading from the Ford Project site but we should have them ready for your enjoyment by Friday 20 March 2015

Regards Garry.
PS - this is just some fun tinkering with an aircraft that took Edward's fancy - no commissions or kickbacks from Flight1 or Golden Age Simulations - just us having a bit of fun with a fun flier.

Garry, these look fantastic and I am a big fan of the Pitcairn autogiros. But are these textures compatible with the 2011 FSX native PCA-2? I ask because your description seems to be of the FS9 package. I would love to see some PA-18 paints too!

Hi Mate,

The textures I have created for the three different models have all been done in DXT3 format - as long as the simulator versions you are using support this image format (which FSX does) then you should have no problems in using them in FS2004 and other later versions of the Microsoft Simulator programs.
