To take my mind off of recent events in my live, I have started working on a project. Some of the fleet exercises that were conducted by the Pacific Fleet got me to thinking. I have most of the aircraft I need. Especially army types in the right paint, but what I am lacking is several USN machines painted in the 1930's paint scheme. Here is what my wish list is...
Brewster F2a-2/3 Buffalo
Consolidated PBY Catalina
Curtiss SBC-4 Helldiver
Curtiss SOC Seagull
Douglas SBD-2/3 Dauntless
Douglas TBD-1 Devastator
Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat (can't remember if this model of the aircraft came out after the switch to the 40's pre-war scheme)
Vought OS2u Kingfisher
Any help i can get here would be very much appreciated...
Thanks in advance.....

I hope this helps you along your path .....
I know that Flightsim has a bunch of the Helldivers in different livery. I will look for the spot and post it to you. IIRC there used to be some "neutrality" skinned planes around but now I can't find them. I will keep looking later on.

Hi, Cowboy
There's a skin pack of F4F-3's in Pre-war colors on Flightsim, it goes with the FDGv2 Wildcat here at SOH in the donationware file. The-4 didn't enter service till 1942.
Search Flightsim for pwf4fcfs.zip (http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=92036)
Paul Clawson's SOC is available at Simviation at:

I think that most of these schemes will be available @ Flightsim or Simviation but let me know what comes up short & I will make an effort to do even tho I am not running CFS2 @ present.

..looked around and found that Paul Clawson and Peperez did one but does not seem to be available anymore. Uncle Tgt did a repaint of a Brazilian version but that is all there seems to be left. Maybe I looked in all the wrong places but could be that they might still have the plane tucked away.

....... thanks for the link but I had already found it and attached the file itself in the message. Later on I found a "B" model for him and sent that as well. There doesn't seem to be a "E" model though. I did find and it appears that the "E" may have been a rough prototype for another plane designation, or so the info I found indicated. I would have to find the info link again to verify that little bit.
ADDENDUM; Found the reference; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_P-12 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_P-12)
It was the F4B and A.F. Scrub had made one and I had included it in the zip that I had posted at my previous post.

If you like the FDG SBD-3 Dauntless, make sure to go to Avism and get the skins by Henry William. He has done 4 for the SBD, all are very high quality. Made for FSX and must be run through Martin Wright's DXTBmp program to work in CFS2. Also, I really enjoy A.F.Scrub's P-43.

Hey Cowboy,
I know it's at Flithgsim.com (p43_lancer.zip (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=176664)), I looked here and don't see the file. However, UncleTg did some work converting and added some skins to it, his work is here at the Outhouse.
