Is there a more realistic sound for the Virtavia A-4 E/F available?
I've been around the real ones and the stock one is close but no cigar.

I have a T-45 Goshawk soundset for FSX that works pretty good for my RAZBAM Skyhawks. It was done by Serge LSA - file: "fsx_t45_soundpack_1". At least that's what's in the read-me so you may want to search with that filename. It works nicely in FS9 too.

A bit over 10MB for the zip. If you cannot find it on the web, PM me.

I found it! Thanks. Sounds like it has the 3D Cones in it. Only thing is I cannot hear the flap sounds. Other then that not too bad. Thanks for the recommendation. :adoration:

Having been on a MARINE A ramp more times than I can count.........i am using what I think is the best sound available. It's the sound package from the virtavia hawker hunter.........try it.....you won't be sorry.

I found a video... is this the plane and sound you mentioned? It is too bad they didn't use that sound for their A4 in the first place.

Edit: I'm tempted to get this one and it's not too bad on price.

I went ahead and got the Hawker. I have aliased the A4 sound to the Hawker Hunter. It has a strong sound resemblance to that of the A4.
Thanks SkyhawkA4m for the suggestion :encouragement:

I think the Virtavia Hunter does sound more like an A4 than a Hunter.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=myzip8mSPoU . Or to put it another way.. it doesn't sound much like a Hunter:biggrin-new:

Those sound files have completely different names and sound different then the Virtavia Hunter.
For a reasonable price, I bought a decent soundset for the Virtavia A4 and I'm pleased with it. But thanks anyway. :adoration:
