Thought I would post a screenshot of the puff skin. I should be able to release her in about two weeks.

What a great looking paint job. Definately a prefectly good aircraft that you wouldn't want to jump out of. :)

Lookin' good Mark. Would there be any dark green to black in that camo pattern? I remember painting some rather dark splotches on my Thud and Phantom models. Not sure about the gunship. Great progress all the same.

Squiffy, You may be right, I didn't do the base texture. I just modified it to suit my needs. Painting is not my strongest point. Here are some screenshots of the business end of Puff.

Cool Mark,
A second set of eyes always helps. Now that's what I call firepower. Love that gattling gun track in the last shot. Thanks for the work. Don't have a Vietnam install yet.

Looking forward to this... Shades of that Airfix kit here, too!
Just thinking... The colours were "feathered" rather than hard-edged; you can do that by adding a bit of gaussian blur (back up first!) to each colour layer. And to my eye, the light brown was browner.
