I understand the principles of flight and the dynamics of airfoil but it still amazes me every time one of these big bruisers take off!

I get to ride in a UA 787 from LAX to MEL and back next month. I'm going down to Melbourne primarily to
fly on the 787. The other place United flies their 787 is Japan but I'd rather go to Australia. Besides,
it is summer down there now :)

Remember, with enough power, even a brick can fly.

How many do we need? There have been at least six released already, not even counting the abortion ABACUS released a few years ago:

I'm curious too. What don't the other 787 Models have, that this 'new' one should have?

Let me guess; PMDG complexity, a photoreal VC with Wing Views, AI Flight Crew including FA's?

Maybe ACARS, so one can track how much Time Compression is used in the Sim?

I'm sorry; it just seems that nothing on the market is ever good enough anymore...

Well. I didn't know anyone had made a 787 for FSX either. Hadn't been looking for one. To me, it looks like the OP didn't either, hence the “I hope somebody makes one...” comment, see? That's not the same thing as complaining about existing ones. Cut the man some slack, dang.

The answer to darn near any question anyone might have may be found quickly without any risk via http://google.com (or bing.com, yahoo.com, et cetera)... :encouragement:

or maybe it was sarcasm.

Be nice if someone would come up with a search engine for the web.
