Hi Guys

I'm currently working on this scenery for RAF Westonzoyland in somerset which was a Meteor training station in the early 50's. I've got the basic field down and the tower and hangers but I'm struggling with the support buildings and more importantly the aprons. The only Ariel images I can find are from 1944 when the USAAF were there prepping for D-Day and 1947....when not much happened at all! but whilst I can find plenty of images of meteors At Westonzoyland I can't seem to find any images of the base itself during that time. Anybody got any ideas where I should be looking

Also Anyone know if there's a way of getting rid of the road running through the middle

Many Thanks

ADE may be able to do that with an "exclude". . .I know SBuilderX can do it for sure.

Yep, you can remove roads with an exclude poly in ADE. Even a small poly overtop of a section of road will remove it. However, there's a good chance that it'll remove a larger chunk of road than simply what the poly covers. But since the road through the airfield is more objectionable than the absence of a length of road in the area, it's a worthwhile tradeoff.

There's some good maps here----http://www.airfieldinformationexchange.org/community/showthread.php?7826-Weston-Zoyland

you may have to set up an account but its a great site for airfield info, looks like you've got it right mostly, not much chang'd after the war from its USAAF troop carrying days, and was only active again from 1952-58, as for the road's, as have been said, ADEX or SBuilderX313 will do the job with ease, SBX is my favorite,
cheers ian

If you do have any probs with the road, send it over and i''ll lose it for you.

Thanks for the input guys I'll take a look later. Just one more thing does anybody have
A paint kit for Rob Richardson's T.7 and could someone tell me where to find it as it doesn't seem to be on Rob's site anymore.

Thanks Hooky

Thanks for the Help guys especially to Ian for pointing me towards Airfield Information Exchange forums. That Definitely did the trick. All the buildings are as as accurate as I can make them using Ted Andrews FSX RAF Buildings Libraries. Some are correct, Some have been substituted for buildings that are the right shape and size but 90% of its where it should be. I Have also knocked up a traffic file and some authentic repaints for the Rob Richardson Meteor T.7. Now I've just got a few minor details to clean up but it should be in the Library by Christmas.

The F.3's are substituting for F.4's until I can get hold of the F.4 paintkit I thought I had it but It's Buried somewhere deep in the annals of my Hard Drive and I doubt I'll be able to locate it can anyone help?

Many Thanks
