My Prepar3D installation felt as if it was missing something. I actually couldn't find it on my drive!
I changed the search term and used "Dimus". Low and behold, there it was.
It looks as good as it did in FSX. Perfect. The windows actually look real good.

I wanted to extend my "Thanks" to you again for helping me with my hanger. :encouragement:
That reminds me. The concrete contractors must have poured a thin mix of concrete. Weeds are growing through it!. I'll have to get some weed spray.

It does look great. . .I remember when you first started building and was impressed with how quickly you caught on to the program. . .from there it just got more and more detailed. Nicely done!

Thanks Ed.
Without the help from Dimus, I would have went bald. Likely still if I were to try messing with Sketchup again. Hehe.

I remembered after I got the hanger installed that I also built the log cabin package. Found it buried deep in my HD. There's a boat and a couple other pieces that I never textured. http://imgur.com/a/AwR9e#0

Not the average "in the woods" cabin is it. Not something I've ever seen anyway!
The object textures need to be weathered down. A good white wash would do it.

I loved that paintshop OleBoy! I remember now that I had that concrete slightly offset from ground level in order to show above it. This is why your tires seem a bit buried in it. In FSX it was not possible to cast a shadow on it as it was an object, not a ground tile. In P3D it is possible. Maybe it is best to create custom tiles for surfaced on the same level with the ground but I have to first learn how to do that. ADE now has this option.

I'm very glad you're still enjoying it.

Hi Dimus.
It's a lot more appealing in this simulator. The only discrepancy IMO is the lack of hardened surface.
The glass looks nice. And aside from the lettering on the roof having a drop shadow, it sends/receives shadows real nice too.

and learning MCX. At times it feels like I'm going in circles.
Positive results. I got one of the models in the sim. It's a good day. :encouragement:
