I flew this demo mostly from the VC but also rehearsed it multiple times with correlating external views with the intent of it being seen from an airshow spectator level.

Very nice man ! This is a legendary aircraft & a favourite of mine also.

Really great video. Just a little hint: The F-104 was not able to retract the tailhook in flight. It was a one way option for barrier engagements ;-)

I should have recalled that as most Air Force bird's tail hooks operate in that manner but in making the video, I manipulated the tail hook up/down switch for that dirty pass much as I do with my Naval models(having that function mapped on my HOTAS X55). Oh well, an oversight :banghead:

That's one nice thing about movie maker type programs, if you save the original files then it is easy to go back and edit them as I did in this case.
