Not sure if they are called this, but when you move the mouse pointer to a button in the cockpit and tag appears informing you what it is.

Anyway in full screen mode they do not show, but in window mode they do? As I fly in full screen it is a little annoying I have no info showing, is this a known bug in DX10 or have missed something?

Yes it is a known bug that hasn't yet been solved. I just alt/ enter when I need to find find something.

Thanks Roger, thought I had done something wrong!

Hopefully Steve will come up with a fix for this. It is
a bit of a drag some time when you have to ALT Enter
to read tag.

Here is a solution that gives full screen and cockpit tooltips.

Unzip the attached file and you will see a file
called fullscreen.exe.

Put it into a folder of your choice and
run it as an administrator.

A green icon containing an H will appear
in your icons box.
FSX and indeed any active 32 bit program window will go to
Pseudo Full Screen mode when you press and hold
the Windows key and then F11.
Pressing these two keys again will exit the
full screen mode.

The author's credit can be read by right clicking on the
icon and selecting "About".

If you wish, you can add a shortcut to the file on
your Desktop or Taskbar.
