Very nice!

It was the work of Dino, and of Rob Richardson, that persuaded me to reinstall FSX after an initial bad experience, now I have a PC that can actually run it (rather than give me a picturesque slideshow). And it looks as though Dino may also be the man who persuades me to finally purchase Tacpack! :-D

Wow, can't believe it. If payware, I will purchase.

But to be honest I am especially excited about the Aermacchi at the moment... :adoration:

Owen.

Thanks for the enthusiasm... but this was just an announcement for the 2015... so, there is a lot of work ahead, and a lot of things could change. It is looking good, but for now the focus is on the MB.326 - which I hope can be released in the next few months!

That's the one I'm really looking forward to. Great news Dino!

Yep! I can't wait the time the 326 (and the 339) will be ready!!!
I love the Typhoon too, but the style of the Aermacchi trainers is another level.
Good work and thanks for the head up! :wavey:

A Dino Eurofighter Typhoon!!!! What wonderful surprise. Thanks for the preview of another great project. These previews are very much appreciated as it gives everyone something to look forward to and keep coming back to SOH. Once it arrives count me in. Until now I have never flown the Typhoon but then I am a Yankee.

That will change once this beauty is released. :redfire:

Seeing a sneak preview from Dino is always great, because you know you will actually see it eventually become reality.

Dino, please put the C-2 Greyhound on your to do list!

All,

thanks for the appreciation and enthusiasm (as usual!)... I do not want to cool down the hype, but this is just a preliminary feasibility study (it is basically a commercial mesh - funded by your donations to my blog btw - which I retextured and reworked to see how it looked in FSX). I cannot show you a picture... but it looks very convincing, and it is a doable and solid project.

As for the versions, there will be just one base model: a single seater "tranche agnostic" (meaning, functional differences between T1, T2 and T3 aicrafts will not be depicted, and nation-specific weapon systems / equipment will not be supported either). Sorry for that, but I need to keep the project to a manageable size. The best way to send a project into the limbo of the (many) unfinished FSX projects is to be too ambitious.

That being said, I am *not* taking requests/suggestions for further projects or cooperations - sorry.
Also, people started sending me information / links to Eurofighter material - thanks, but please refrain from doing so, at least for the moment. BTW the documentation I am missing, afaik, at the moment is classified.
And yes, I know the avionics manual leaked onto the internet - let's say I do not need you to send me a copy.

So, if you want to hold your breath you are welcome.... but it will probably take 8-9 months to make. :-)

There is a WIP Eurofighter Typhoon in UKMIL's workshop. Registered users (http://www.ukmil.org.uk/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?50730.150) can download a free native FSX exterior, currently version 1.7, vith solo and twin variants. No VC, because as UKMIL says "VC work is always slow, as I hate doing them". I fly it with Dino's T45C cockpit. I know, not quite right, but nice!

Since the real Eurofighter is a joint venture with BAE Systems, Airbus Group and Alenia Aermacchi, why not considering a Dino/UKMIL collaboration? Dino makes wonderful payware quality VC, and UKMIL makes beautiful exteriors, sounds like a win-win combination to me!

I also fly the UKMIL Tornado with Dino's F14 cockpit. Works very well. More about the Tornadino VC merge here (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?45524-Native-FSX-Tornado-GR4-%28now-released!%29&p=634231&viewfull=1#post634231).

...well, the UKMIL model seems pretty good indeed, but I would prefer making my own - hopefully it will be a decent one.

But then again, this is for 2015 - for now the focus is on the MB.326.

Also, to be clear for the start - my Eurofighter project is likely to be payware. Sorry for that, but this is almost necessary for a project of this scope.

Ciao Dino,
Che ne pensi di un bel G.91 (R/Y) invece dell'Eurofighter ?
Translation : What do You think about a GOOD G.91 (R or Yankee) instead of Typhoon II ?

As I said, I am not taking requests or suggestions for future projects.
A good Fiat G.91 is much needed - but it will not come from me.
I will pursue the Eurofighter as main project for 2015, and try to work on the MB.339 as expansion of MB.326 project.

Decision is final, and feasibility complete.
There are no reasons, at the moment, to change my plans.

Dino, I am sure it will be well worth the wait. Payware: why not? Quality has its price. We were just lucky that your earlier models were freeware. I would not have mind if they had been payware.<o:p></o:p>

Do your own thing Dino, I for one will wait for this. I have fond memories of the RAF demonstrator at airshows up to six years ago and will look forward to recreating those in a Dino Typhoon. :encouragement:

Hi all - thanks for the appreciation... I have not posted pics in the FSX forum as, so far, I only mostly tested it in P3Dv3.... but it should be compatible with FSX+Tacpack - only exception being the PIRATE / TFLIR Imaging

The visual model is almost complete... and I am going through the VC panels. Hopefully the VC model will be complete before Easter...and programming will commence in April.
