Hi.

Does anyone remember the proper settings to noticeably change/increase the pitch and roll of ships? I know this is done by adjusting the [Dynamics] section of the ship's cfg file. Below is an example of the [Dynamics] settings for the Usio KMK_Kongo battleship as it comes from it's "stock" setting:

[Dynamics]
pitch_wave_moment_scale = 1
bank_wave_moment_scale = 1
pitch_damp_moment_scale = 1
bank_damp_moment_scale = 1

I think it's like:

[Dynamics]
pitch_wave_moment_scale = 4
bank_wave_moment_scale = 2
pitch_damp_moment_scale = 4
bank_damp_moment_scale =2

Am I correct? I used to know but forgot and never documented it. The first four minutes of this video, shown in the link below, shows the correct change in effect: I think it adds more realism and difficulty (especially on landings).

This is what I have in my notes:

in the ship.CFG you adjust theses numbers to get the "sway" & "BoB"

[Dynamics]
pitch_wave_moment_scale = 1
bank_wave_moment_scale = 1
pitch_damp_moment_scale = 1
bank_damp_moment_scale = 1

1 to 3 is the range for all four lines)....1=most stable, 3=highest pitch and bank
