In the past couple of days I have uninstalled FSX, and am in the process of reinstalling addons; EZDOK being one of them. I am able to install the setup file onto the hard drive I want (B:/), but when I initiate the actual install of the software, it only wants to install to C:, and there doesn't appear to be an option to change that.

Any help?

I searched through the forums at Flight1, but could not find any answers.

Thanks. NC

Update: I got it working in FSX. Now trying to do the same for P3D. Apparently the program does not have to be on the same drive because I installed it to C: with the sims being on B:. NC

Above is the EZDOK forum, handy to keep in your favourites. I find it the flakiest of programs.

Yes, Simforums is a great place for information. I did have EZDOK installed with my previous P3D installation. Bad thing is I cannot remember how I did it!

There is a thread on Simforums for the exact problem I have, and the process is quite extensive, from the looks of it. I swear I didn't have that much difficulty installing EZDOK into P3D before. Maybe I will eventually figure it out. Hope so. Love the software, especially combined with TrackIR.

Getting old sucks!

This fellow has a bunch of superb videos on EZDOK

I cannot remember if the above covers it but there are a couple of files in TrackIR that need disabling if you are to use that in conjunction with EZDOK. This fellow explains what to do early on in this long video

Other good ones to seek out on YT are Froogle, and Belynz.

So far I have not seen any YouTube videos that explain how to install EZDOK to P3D. Plenty of how to configure; both with and without TrackIR though. NC
