Hi Guys,
Just thought I would let you know that a new Build for the M2M Mirage 2000C has been released. This new build gives us a new seat textures along with a small canopy support bar. They have not yet put up the link but if you go into your account and do a fresh down load you will see 0.89. Regards Timm

No, but for pure flying enjoyment you can't go wrong with this model, money well spent and it keeps on getting better with each beta revision.

Unfortunately, only works with tanks, missiles, if you have installed the TacPack

And it's still just a Beta, correct?

I wouldn't worry about any of that until it's the full release candidate. If they "fixed" everything at once, then it would be the release and not a beta.

Do you mean paint kit? Or, a folder of livery's? Paint kit I can find. Livery pack, not.

It's downloadable from my account page. ???

Got it. The liveries are:

1.) Cambresis 12-YJ (Updated)
2.) Força Aérea Brasileira 4947 (Updated)
3.) Vendee 200,000 Heures
4.) Prototype
5.) Polemikh Aeroporia 322 - 200
6.) Cambresis 60th Anniversary
7.) 2004 Tigermeet
8.) 5-AO
9.) 5-OP
10.) 2-LF
11.) PERU 052

.....and there will be more to come.

The liveries seem to be build-specific, which could imply that there may be changes before final release.
No paint kit as yet, for this reason.

This is really looking superb. I've been staying away since I'd really prefer to wait until a complete package is ready, but I may break down one of these days.

Out of curiosity, anyone willing to share how much of the VC is done and operable? Can you do a full start-up & shut-down yet? How much further do they have to go in terms of avionics?

Hi zsoltquack,
I noticed the same when I went straight into my account, but if you drop into their forums they have a link which will direct it to the new textures. I think this is going to one hell of an Aircraft when finished. Timm

Hi,
These Guys are doing a great job on this Aircraft. Just for fun I put a texture from build 0.88 through DXTBmp and the same from Build 0.89 just to see if there is any thing different you my have not seen any difference but there is, they have added a lot more little things around the aircraft.

Yep, a lot of small refinements were build into it along its development, wich is by the way a normal development with a beta-release.
But ith the changes of the model, it will cause changes in the paint kit, hence it's not released yet.

Hi Hank,
Not sure where you fit into the development of this Aircraft but looking at your banner your a master painter. Now I'm sure I'm not alone here you are doing out standing work on it and is very much appreciated. It's had to believe all those years ago when FSX first came out, the rigs we were using were not capable to run it and going back to FS9 (me included)and now just look at whats out there. And its thanks to you guys and the dedication you put in that gives us these awesome addons. THANK YOU.

I see on their Facebook page that they announced their soundset will be done by a company called "Sound Labs". I am very concerned about this company. They used to go by another name, "Military Sound Studios", and back in March they began posting "renders" of a Vulcan that they claimed to be developing. These renders were very clearly just photos that had been altered in photoshop and not actual renders of anything. When I called them out on it they deleted my comments and banned me from their Facebook page. I sent them private messages requesting they take the false photos down or that I would share their scam with the rest of the community. They said they would resolve the issue, and when I went back to their page the next day they had deleted the entire page. Now 3 months later they are back as "Sound Labs".

Here is their Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sound-Labs/1489757311236770

I am not even sure their work is their own. Their soundsets seem to be the same sounds available on UKMIL to premium members. I can't say for sure that these are the same soundpacks, as I do not have access to the UKMIL downloads, but these downloads also claim to be from developer Military Sound Studio, and are for the same aircraft.
http://www.ukmil.org.uk/download.php?list.126

Another thing to note, I found this post on AVSIM about a company called Military Sound Studios, headed by Steve Inwood, who tragically passed away in September of last year, and there is information regarding this same person on the UKMIL website http://forum.avsim.net/topic/383847-military-sound-studios/

I don't know who the guys at Sound Labs really are, or what their intentions are, all I know is that my experience with them was very, very unpleasant and they have tried to pull a fast one in the past with their Vulcan.

MSS has few members, perhapst its exactly same team in Sound Labs, just without Steve [']. Im sure than quality of sound will be on top level.

I hope you are correct. It's not so much the quality of the product I'm worried about, it's all the other stuff I mentioned.

Right... like I said above, though, its not the quality of the product I am worried about. The people at Sound Labs have been very deceptive before, and nothing about them seems legitimate. I have lots of chat logs of my very unpleasant experience with them when I called them out on their fake Vulcan renders. They are liars. But I guess it's not really my business, hopefully the products they released on their page are actually their own and their association with Military Sound Studios was legitimate. I'll shut up about it now!

Hi ak416,
Have you got the Mirage 2000 from M2M? If you have would you buy the new sound set from them when it's released? I feel that what you are saying is personal belief against these guys and really should not be aired on here. Let M2M make that decision, I'm sure they know what they are doing. Thats my own opinion. Regards Timm

Yes, I own the product already.

I am just trying to share my experience with the community and was hoping to get more information and feedback from people more knowledgeable about the community then I am. I have proof of everything I have claimed. As a member of the community I feel it is necessary to share when a developer does something like this. Posting fake screenshots to generate hype for a non-existent product can only lead to bad things and is cause for concern, in my humble opinion. Especially the actions they took after I had proven that their renders were fake. I'm sorry if you feel that I should not share the information I have. I said above I will drop the subject now, my intentions are not to slander, I gain nothing from it, I am not a developer or associated with one, just a concerned customer and community member. If the admins feel that I am out of line, I'm sure they will intervene.
