Quick installation guide

This is a set of revised airfiles to replace the ones provided in the original conversion of Bruce Thorson's Curtiss P-40B and C model "Hawks." These airfiles do their best to represent the correct weight, Allison engine characteristics, and flight performance of these early "Hawk" models, including top speed and climb rate.

The P-40 "B" model, accordingly, will have slightly more performance and maneuverability than the "C" model, which was the worst performer of the entire series.

I do not profess these to be 100% accurate, but they will allow the aircraft to perform in a manner more befitting her actual abilities.

Installation

To install these files, you will want to simply take my revisions and overwrite the originals that you will find in the download links listed below. You may use the links provided below to obtain the aircraft, the modifications, and the skins so you can use this aircraft in any theatre.

JP,

The basic idea is to install the aircraft first, either the B model, the C model, or both.

The airfiles are used to provide realistic performance.

You can then upgrade the model by installing Morton's panel. Here is the new link: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=7f2604cfe3f60274&sa=255917456#cid=7F2604CFE3F60274&id=7F2604CFE3F60274!967&v=3

Kelti's add-on provides prop textures and a revised .dp file for a drop tank and a 500lb bomb.

The rest are just skins which you can use to your liking. Since the P-40 was used on the Eastern Front, in the desert, briefly in Europe, and extensively in the Pacific, I provided you with several skin packages to suit whatever theatre you are using the aircraft in. You are not mandated or required to install any skin.
