In test at this moment: general bug fixes, but containing the following (from Steve's blog)

Should shortly be available for download

1. Improved LightField - should work much more reliably
2. AMD shows correct AA options
3. Improvements to shadowing of FS8 aircraft
4. UK2000 PAPI lights should work with v2.0 transparency enabled
5. New option to correct Axis Colour (User Request)
6. New Option to hide clouds that appear black on texture change - experimental

Product Updates:

The recommended update procedure is to uninstall and then install the new version as follows:

1). Uninstall the libraries using the option in DX10Controller.
2). Open Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and remove the SteveFx DX10SceneryFixer.
3). Launch the downloaded FSS Installer for the new version and follow the instructions, reentering your key if necessary.
4). Launch DX10 Controller and Install the libraries.
5). Read the Manual!

Note that the 1.4 FSS Uninstaller removes the directory containing your profiles – if you want to retain them please copy them elsewhere before starting the un-installation process.

Enjoy!

Hmmm "reply with quote" doesn't seem to be working!

Anyway - thanks for the heads-up. I hope Steve announces it on his blog when it appears.

What's "New option to correct Axis Colour"? Does it turn all Germans green? :victorious:

Adam.

It's the Axis display is a cheap version of a HSI! From the Views>>Help section within the sim:

Axis Indicators
An axis indicator makes it easy to determine pitch and bank angles relative to the horizon without having to look at the attitude indicator; real-world pilots often use a smudge on the windscreen for the same purpose. The axis indicators in Flight Simulator are a great tool when you're learning basic flying maneuvers. They're also very useful if you hide the instrument panel by pressing W.

Using the Axis indicator drop-down list, you can display one of three axis indicators on the windscreen of your aircraft:

4 dots
Small V
Large V
