-
- New Guinea: Rolf Keibel's West/Central New Guinea scenery, avalaible for download at http://www.simnetwork.com/listing.php?cat=94
- Korea: Dennis Choi's Korea mesh for FS2002-2004 (works in CFS2 too), avalaible for download at www.avsim.com (http://www.avsim.com) (file kor_dcman_129568.zip, about 60 MB.)

dvslats,

Thanks, I downloaded it....

I do not know if that is the one---I will have to try it and see, and will report back.

Hi Nick,

I used to have Rolf Keibel's mesh but it was superseded by Rhumbaflappy's superior mesh found here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=147

It's a lot of downloading but it is worth it and covers all theatres of war.

Keep the French Polynesia mesh by Keibel as that area isn't as detailed or doesn't appear to be covered by Rhumba's mesh.

Kdriver thanks,

I will do as you say. But I looked at the link you sent me and I see many files titled DME+number, each about 65 mb. Do I have to download all of them?

Unfortunately yes Nick - I don't know which file pertains to which geographical area of the world. Most of the new CFS 2 scenery by the various talented designers is made taking Rhumba's mesh into account.

Rolf Keibel's Lord Howe Island is worth having as it isn't covered by Rhumba's mesh.

Nick,

The complete mesh package is installed in four layers: the dem4km.bgl goes in the SCENERY folder and the other three layers installed in descending order of level of detail (LOD) below your add on airfield layers after starting the sim.

For China, Burma and India airfields download eawwii_full_scenery_2006.zip by Xavier Berdaguer on page 10 of the CFS 2 scenery section. There is another package by him covering Japan.

UncleTgt also made some beautiful scenery for the Andaman Islands.
