Not quite finished, want to do a 36 Squadron RAF version for those desperate Singapore missions:rolleyes: .
Once that's done, I'll upload in a single skins pack ...

Nice indeed. I'm going to have to get the old Albacore dusted off again.

Hi Uncle, where'd you find the info on the 119 Sqn all-black Applecore? The only one I've ever come across only had the Squadron codes and no individual aircraft letter.

... it's a pure guess, I can't find anything reliable about code letters & markings for 415 squadron RCAF Albacores or 36 Squadron RAF Albacores.
I Just liked the idea of twinning the all-black albacore with a Wellington XIII, complete with radar aerials, & go hunting E Boats & R Boats! Plain black with no codes just doesn't feel right ...

Don't get too excited, it's just some new paint jobs - it's still Baldy's original model, a bit more detail on the skin is all ...:typing:

I may have some info on their aircraft, no pics though, if you want it. I forgot that 415 Sqn took 119 Sqns codes when they took on the Albecores.

Thanks, I'll take any help you can give me ...:woot:

I don't like "plain" skins, but all the same, I don't feel comfy about having to make up too much. Even a/c serial numbers I could use would be better than guessing.

Thanks to Hewman for the lead on the RCAF codes

Baldy responded to my request for a mdl file fix on the rudder - thank you!

I've tweaked using Martin Wright's mdlmat to cover up the texture gaps as much as poss ...

Working on an airfile & aircraft.cfg that makes it a half decent AI aircraft, whilst at least allowing a player to get airborne ... is Obio still FS9 ing?

Sounds - Not a lot around for a Bristol Taurus engine. I think Lawdog's D3A1 Val set as a close fit - any other suggestions?

Think I'll leave the panel as Baldy's - cockpits not a strong suit, the repaint learning curve is steep enough!:faint:

Just the color scheme on the Wellington to try and penetrate Shessi's Kammhuber line at night.

Thanks to help from the administrators, I got the uploading side sorted & they're up

I put them up as separate a/c as the night skins need to use a modified mdl file to the daytime skins (plus it keeps the file size down!).:typing:
