I was able to get together with Dad today...we rolled out the Thorp and I spent about an hour driving it around. We had a good flight. Visibility was better than normal, and it was not too bumpy. It was good to get in the air again! :gameon:

That has actually turned out to be a tough one to get looking good. It seems that reflections on slab surfaces like the fuselage sides don't work well! I have been working on custom environment maps in order to get a good look. I also have spent a lot of time looking at textures from the stock DC-3...in the end I have to include the polished metal version! :typing:

If I ever get the RV done (where a large sum of money will be needed!) we should go flying. :rapture:

110 hours on your HOBBS meter? Ohhh man, that it???????

2500 rpm and running just a tad hot, or does it normally run hot?

Thanks for the update and man oh man I like that no paint shiny metal showing. That is a pretty rare thing for some reason and I don't get it. I think it looks great naked like that, ummm umm ummmm. :ernae:
