Hey All,

This camera will be great! The specs look outstanding. I'll be watching it closely. A weathersealed lens (18-135) in May to go with this weather sealed body meanwhile it will ship with the 18-55.

Of course the only fly in the ointment. What is Fuji going to announce at Photokina this next fall? They have said the X-Pro1 will not be updated soon - so the question is what will the "new" x-pro be? A "full frame" Fuji with an "organic" sensor? Who knows? Always interesting to decide - do I wait or not?

Meanwhile the x-t1 looks great - I just wish it had another 6+ megapixels to add to it's 16 though.

I am very happy with Fuji - it's equipment, customer oriented philosophy and a willingness to actually innovate.

Well if they go full frame, 2 questions then:
- What & how much glass will be introduced with it?
- Will the old Fujinon glass & mount be compatible?

Hey All,

Nobody knows the answers to those questions P - except Fuji. We will all have to wait and see - meanwhile I'm good with the 1.5 crop factor, the quality of the bodies and lenses and the continuous willingness to listen to customers via firmware updates.

If Fuji were to do a full frame camera I'd have to think about it. More scene coverage is good as is more DOF capability but on the other hand "additional" telephoto via crop sensors is also good. P you may have the best of both assuming you are willing to "fully" buy into both full frame 1x sensor (Nikon Df) and m4/3rds 2x crop sensor (Olympus). I would rather support one system thinking that aps-c fuji to be the best compromise. More money for guitars that way. :mixed-smiley-010:

I've pretty much already bought into Micro Four Thirds with the glass that I have for it. But the 2.0 crop factor of Micro Four Thirds is an advantage. I can't cheaply get the 150-300 and 150 ƒ3.5 full frame equivalent that I already have in Micro Four Thirds...

Hey All,

That 75/1.8 (150/1.8 in 35) is a great ($900) lens from all I can tell. Given a lot of what you shoot I see why you have it. The 75-300 well I may get that for my wife who has an old Olympus EPL-1 (I've started looking for a used 5) to use on birds.

Exciting times in cameras. Now if somebody would get Fuji RAW conversion perfect...

Yeah I had to sell my Leica 45mm MACRO to ease some of the 75 cost....:dizzy:

What's wrong with SilkyPix ?

Hey All,

Silky works but it isn't very user friendly - for me anyway.

What I am trying to figure out is how to get my favorite "look". Here is an example:

http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/6d/28/5e/6d285e5d3ba5de5f200c6fe506d4e038.jpg

This image is by Sarah Marino a favorite of mine - it captures the "ektachrome" look perfectly.

Here is another by John Griggs also capturing the "ektachome" look.

So processing-wise this is where I like to be and of course how you want an image to look varies by image. I lean toward ektachrome - always and forever my favorite film.

Sing it!

"mama don't take my ektachrome away..." :mixed-smiley-010:

All that said I think there is an x-t1 in my not very far away future and I'm hoping somebody gets RAW processing right.
