Mr Granatelli has passed away at age 90 in a san diego hospital...

RIP Andy Granatelli... an innovator for the indy 500.

He's a former CEO for STP Motor Oils, owner of the supercharged Novi V8 Engine, and also pioneered the turbine powered indy car.

He will be missed.
