I cannot take off from the carrier normally, in PAcific Flighters, with all planes. The carrier take off mission is the one. Any help?

Hey Jinx, I usually fly the corsair and for carrier takeoff I use full flaps, cowl air vents open, mixture full rich, prop rpm max, supercharger set for low blower, power set to 110%, let the engine run up before you release the brakes and be very easy with the controls exspecially the elevator. The 4.01 patch seems to have made the controls very sensitive to me anyway and it might help you also to go into the hardware setup section and adjust the control input settings for pitch and yaw. You can also try using the tailwheel lock, (mainly used for crosswind takeoffs though but might help ya if you yawing a lot)

btw also standard procedure to open the canopy encase ya splash you can get out and swim away before the ship runs ya over Lol !!

good luck, Seahawwk

On the carriers you have to release the chocks before your aircraft can move.

The "Release/apply chocks" toggle is not assigned by default so you have to assign it a key yourself in the controls menu.

If you already know this see Seahawk's post. :costumes:
