I have just recently left hospital after a heart attack and a triple bypass.
Slowly I have started back into flightsim.
I downloaded the above mentioned C-47 V2 and it has been the most
incredible present.
Thank you from the bottom of my "mended heart" to all of you who created
this better than most payware airplanes. It is truly a masterpiece and a dream to fly.
At the risk of sounding greedy,I hope there will be an old original style cockpit and maybe
an Aer Lingus Texture.

Once again thank you all and have a safe Christmas.

Sincerely Anthin.

Thank you for your kind words. It will be a long road back
but it will mean a new start. I intend to follow the Cardio exercise program
and diet. It was a big scare.

Have a safe and wonderful Christmas.

Anthin:guinness: Not too many.

I hope you enjoy our little gift.
If it helps with your healing work, it's worth all of the effort that went into it. This is without question the most uplifting comment I have seen on this project.

Thank you sir, and you are most certainly welcome.

Welcome back.

Gordon

All the long while in Hospital I thought about the C-47 and how it looked
in the screenshots. It was even better on the computer. I would gladly
have paid a full price for it. Thank you once again. I hope to be flying this
for a very long time.
Finally FSX has a top notch DC-3/C-47.

Thank you

Anthin

From memory there is an Irish paint in the original package and if you search the Library there are a couple of Aer Lingus paints.

I've got two classic Aer Lingus paints for it up on flightsim.com and some more Irish C-47 's in the paintshed. Happy flying!

Thank you for Christmas present.
What a suprise! I had only hoped someone would do a repaint.
Wow two.

I have installed both repaints but the textures inside and out are black.
Any idea on a fix. I would dearly love to have these repaints showing.

Thank you Anthin:santahat:

Very odd, have had no reports of problems with them...

Have you installed Gman's texture pack? Another paint I did for someone displayed oddly until he installed the texture pack...

Looks like the model can't find the textures. I'll go check those out and see if they display for me.
Try re-installing the DAK. I'll follow up on this and get right back.

EDIT: I checked those files and they display correctly for me.
Try Pat's suggestion first. If no joy, post up here and we'll have a look at your setup.

In your texture folder you should have a text file called texture. If not find a texture folder with this file and copy it to your Aer Lingus folders. That should fix the problem.
