For those that have not seen this on the news this morning . Hmmmmm , landing on a 6100 foot runway and 9000 feet required for takeoff .
Pilot and copilot's future with this company : :toilet_claw: I can certainly see how this could happen , especially at night . Years ago a 737 landed(at night) at a small local airport along I-270 in Columbus , apparently in their flight path for CMH , their intended airport . As I vaguely remember the story , the passengers were bused to CMH (20-25 miles ?) , the pilot and copilot were flown back(passengers this time) , another pilot and copilot were brought in and the plane was flown over to CMH after off loading all the luggage and draining the fuel to a little above the amount required to get to CMH .
