http://flightsim.com/o/Q200FSX.GIF http://flightsim.com/wbicons/fcq1.gif http://flightsim.com/wbicons/fbq1.gif FSX Burt Rutan Q-200. This is KBT's Q-200 design model modified for FSX. The Burt Rutan Q200 is a high-performance, sandwich composite homebuilt aircraft. Its compact external size, extremely efficient design, results in superb performance and unequaled fuel economy using a relatively low horsepower engine. The maximum speed is in excess of 200 mph, and fuel economy exceeds 60 miles per gallon. The Q-200's high-lift canard (forward wing) is fitted with a plain elevator that controls the aircraft's pitch altitude. The canard also serves as the main landing gear spring since the main gear is mounted on the tips of the canard. This aircraft uses a default FSX panel. Modifications and texture by Mark Rooks of RDG.

Bill, I wasn't aware that one's membership could/would expire, but in any case, here are 2 screenies, note the cloud/prop issue still exists...:ernae:

Hi,

I tried it yesterday. Nice exterior as said here before. Unfortunately not my thing without VC and with prop issue. :kilroy: Deleted it again after one flight.

Thanks guys,

Roger that.

My thoughts were to install a VC model, since it was FSX, but with the prop issue, sounds like its a FS9 model ported, so that wouldnt work.

arrghh.. :banghead:

Note that any download that ends with "Modifications and texture by Mark Rooks of RDG" is a tweaked FS9 plane, which is why there are visual issues.

If he has permission from the original authors, I think it's great if he updates FS9 planes to be flyable in FSX. But I wish he'd actually advertise them for what they are -- "FS9 flyable in FSX" -- instead of falsely portraying them as FSX aircraft.

Found it.. Found the original file name at a Japanese website, Googled it, downloaded it.

Nicely done for a very simple model. Top even opens. The pilot is well animated and looks around and down as well like he's checking out the scenery.

Even features a cool basic 2D panel. Not photo real, but hey, its better then nothing. I like it. :d

Makes me want to make one.. arrghh.. Where is all the time going?????
