View Full Version : Odd Gulf of Mexico Land Bridge?

Anybody else ever see this terrestrial aircraft carrier? :)

I keep forgetting this thing is out there until I fly over it again. It's a strip of land texture in the middle of the water that's quite a few miles long.

Never have figured out what causes it. It actually extends quite a bit further eastward towards Key West than you see in the satillite view pic.

FSX Default, FSG Mesh, UTX?

This is a landclass seam between two adjacent FSX scenery cells. As it seems to be caused by UTX, I have added it to the Scenery Solutions (developers of UTX) issue database so that it will get looked at for inclusion in a future patch.

I fly threw that area all the time on my way to MUHA from KBIL. Never observerd that land strip before.
