Hey guys,

I have a question. Can a person 'Minimise' screens via a shortcut key in WindowsXP?

You can Minimise (Hide Window) in shortcut keys in Mac. You can also clear the Desktop (hide all) in vista. Just wondering if one can 'hide' windows or minimise windows in XP... (there is not a key assigned, but wondering if one could assign one?).

Found it... lol..

Alt-Spacebar to bring up primary Menu
Alt-N to Minimise

Cant do Alt-N directly.. has to have the small menu brought up first.

A good webpage on XP shortcuts...

Top right hand corner of any window in XP should have three buttons, a small dash, two folders/ single folder and a red X.

The dash minimises the window, click the two folders makes the window smaller and undocks it so you can move it about the screen, click the single folder and the window maximises. Red X closes the window completely.

Hope that helps

I never really got into keyboard shortcuts, Alt-Tab is the only one I ever use on a regular basis.
