June 26,1950: F-82s ( twin mustangs ) takeoff fom Japan and fly to Seoul to fly top cover for th evacuation. A transport from Norway is at Inchon to help with the evacuation and a C-54 is at Kimpo to help. Two days ago the N.Korea Airforce destroyed a transport plane,we are to make sure this one gets through.

The F-82 is the first US planes to engage the enemy. At this moment only 7 are in Japan after flying from Okinawa.

Bloody,

Shadow Wolf and I have already discussed which bases. He did the 4 bases in Manchuria so the Migs had somewhere to land and now is working on some in N.Korea and S.Korea. He is basically going by the Fox Four bases and redoing them as time allows. How many bases he does is up to him.

I have done alot of work on F-82 ( KWCFS2_F82G ). The DP file had to be fixed and I added two more hard points for bombs. One of the problems was it did not have a gun station for bombs and they would disappear when dropped. I also added different drop tanks to extend the range.I did a mission that lasts 8 hours and return to base with over 35% fuel. The airfile also needed some work and now it flies much better and at about the speed it should be.

It can also shoot down the Yak-p and La11 when used correctly.

I also did the same things to the AW P-51 and the ALPHA_TR P-51D bringing them up to Korean standards.

Good work comrade Talon. :salute:

I have finished 11 of those bases (not counting the four in the "Manchuria" pack) and will be starting the 12th in a few after I eat. :isadizzy:
Remember, I can't post any screenshots - either Windows 8 or IE-10 wonlt let me work the "manage attachments" button. for some reason. I'll leave the screenshot postings to you, okay?

F-51s escort A-26 Invaders as they attack an airfield in N.Korea. Yak-9s try to intercept and are shot down.

Indeed. I need a recommendation/referral for the aircraft to replace the original Fox 4 birds if you have them.

Whatever it is, I hope everything works out well for you old buddy.

Are you prepared to test these bases? I finished yesterday.

I'll make a list of the planes.

Some of the planes have N.Korean,Chinese and Soviet Markings and are all in the Russian aircraft downloads at SOH.

Also the AW P51 is here as is the F-82 twinmustang. Both I have brought up to specs for Korea.

Blood,

This campaign starts in June 1950 and ends in August 1950 so I won't be using any Migs in it.Down the road I will be using the Migs when I get to November 1950.

I was going to do B-29 missions but they are not ery frame friendly so I only did 3 missions where you fly escort.

Mission 30 will be finished in a day or two.

The missions start on June 25.1950 and end August 8,1950.

Out of over 1000 views of this thread only 2 members showed any interest in getting this campaign. It seems there isn't much interest in the Korean War.

Talon: Don't sweat it. Of the two packs I recently uploaded in the past 2 weeks there are over a hundred downloads. The users may be quiet or simply not members (and therefore can't post here) but they want our work. Do it for the challenge and fun of it... not for the glory.

When I did my Korean scenery packs I took more pleasure in the satisfaction I got creating a decent quality base and texture than from the Forum comments.

Have you started the .CMG and the Readme yet?

Talon
November 25th, 2013, 15:36
No I haven't started the CMG or Readme. The last mission hasn't been finished either.

I don't work on CFS2 everyday.Sometimes I may work on it for a week and then take a week or two off from it.With the Holidays coming up I have more important things to do.
