hello everyone i am new and just want to say this is an amazing website and with a nice forum for cfs3 with alot of people that play cfs3 is amazing im just so grateful to find people still playing this amazing game.. I checked other sites and you can hardly see any recent post but here all the time.. I am Keenan M. Brown by the way had Cfs3 when i was a kid but did not run well so i decided to give it another go how many years later with a better machine and it worked like a dream... Im just so addicted to this game and the mods here are the best of the best that you cannot get from other sites like the 1% planes just amazing.. I have downloaded some planes and have not used them yet just collecting a few for when i am ready collecting these different plane models itself gets very addicting so many to choose from..lol anyone know a good P40?.. i dont have MAW,PTO or etc.. seems very confusing to me hope to try them in the future.. Thanks everyone for letting me be apart of this wonderful group.. CFS3 for life baby!!!

Welcome.
There is a great bunch of modders and truly knowledgeable folks here who are more than happy to help. I have been the benefactor many times.

Eventually, you may find the expansions to your liking, especially if you get into mission building or modding on your own.

Welcome! Nice to see a ten year old game can still bring people in. Adding airplanes is only the beginning, you can change nearly anything you want with this sim and I've found it to be a very rewarding hobby. As for a good P-40 I recommend a trip over to regshanger.com, it's one of the last CFS3 sites still on the web other than here and hosts some of the finest work ever done for this sim. You'll find your P-40 there and many others.

I recommend the other expansions, they create entirely new games that cover a several different regions and are quite good. They do a lot of the modding for you with a lot less to tune up. Just make sure you read the installation instructions carefully, it will save you some frustration. There are also some tutorials out there to help you install them if you get stuck.

Welcome to the forum, it's always good to welcome more people to the madhouse! :mix-smi: There's a P-40 (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=97&id=3298) in the Add-Ons Library here, but Ed Wilson's P-40 at Reg's Hangar (http://www.regshanger.com/Regs%20hanger%20main/CFS3%20Aircaft/P40/Regs%20P40%20.htm) is a beauty. When you're ready for more options, the MAW, ETO, Rising Sun and Korea expansions will give you lots more fun.

Online combat is still an option, but not via Microsoft's game server: they pulled the plug on that one a while ago. IP-to-IP multiplayer is your only option now and the place to find fellow dogfighters is at sim-outhouse.net, the Flight Center (http://www.sim-outhouse.net/index.php?tabid=29&tabid=152)tab above. You'll need to join that, your SOH log-in is only good here.

I have checked that p40 out at Regs i cant wait to fly it maybe i will wait till my daughter goes to sleep and will fly it... very nice site at regs love the airplanes also the night fighters by NachtPiloten, Bravo4s amazing skins and Groundcrew planes and etc... Very happy to see there is a active community for CFS3 my favorite game of all time i remember when i was a kid and how my dad bought the game for me for 50 dollars just bring back some amazing memories but was sad because i could not play it, but now with a better system i love it so much... wow thanks for referring me to that link alot of amazing screenshots and beautiful birds and also Hobbit nice screenshots..:salute::salute:

Any questions, just yell! hi thanks for letting me know about the online stuff i have a vista and followed the instructions about copying,renaming, and pasting and deleting the .dll file then i was not able to join a game but then the people told me to do the FPMultiplayer.exe because i have FirePower after that i was able to fly a nice 1 hour game with dogfights, racing, practice landings with Ganesh, Firestorm, and 2Gun kid... thanks for letting me know about the IP to IP
