Reminds me of the news item I saw back in the mid-noughties, where Alex Henshaw had gone to Duxford to have a flight in (I think) the Grace Spitfire; they gave him the controls and 91 year old Alex showed the youngsters exactly how a Spitfire should be flown!! Magical stuff.

Man Oh Man, you got to love it. For me the best part of the video is the determination in Mr. Cruickshank's face going up the ladder. Thanks for the heads up Ian.

I had a look inside that same aircraft today and Cruikshank didn't have much wriggle room in the cockpit back then: they're really cramped in there and all the more credit to him for pressing home a second attack. :salute:
