FSaddon super cub, I don't remember the dials being so blurry, anyone know a fix? Thanks.

check pixel size= in the panel.cfg and raise it to a higher binary number?

Yep, what Firekitten says:

[VCockpit02]
size_mm=512,512
pixel_size=512,512 (change to 1024,1024)
texture=$C172s_2
background_color=0,0,0

gauge00=Cessna!Heading_Indicator, 0, 0,163,162
gauge01=Cessna!Turn_Indicator, 164, 0,158,158
gauge02=Bell_206B!Attitude, 323, 0,158,158
gauge03=Cessna!Altimeter, 0,163,158,156
gauge04=Cessna172!Airspeed, 164,159,155,155
gauge05=Cessna!Vertical_Speed, 323,159,156,157
gauge06=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio AP, 0,321,258, 77
gauge07=Cessna172!Tachometer, 260,318,143,143
gauge08=Cessna172!Clock, 0,400, 86, 86
gauge09=Cessna!Flaps, 88,400, 78,105

Use Notepad to open config files.

OK it's already at 1024, 1024.

hmmm, you could try 2048,2048. . .but I don't remember having to ever set it at that for any blurry gauges I ever had. The only other thing that causes blurry textures are mip maps, but I think that only occurs with external textures (fuselage, wings, etc.) I don't know that mips are used in gauge design, although I could be wrong.

Thanks, the exterior looks great, the whole cockpit looks that bad.

stupid question... you do have high detail vc checked in fsx settings right?

Yes, and I tried setting the pixels to 2048, and no change.

One more thing to check:
Go into your FSX.cfg file, scroll to the [Display] section and look at your "TextureMaxLoad'" setting. . . .if it's not at least 1024 then set it to that and see if there's a change. Also, if I'm not mistaken, 1024, once it's set to that, is the default and even if you change it to a higher setting (2048 or 4096), it will revert back to 1024 if you make any changes to the sliders in FSX. There is a utility, "Texture Max Load Editor" which lets you set a higher setting and then hold it at that setting, rather than having to reset it every time you start FSX.
