Last month the USGS discontinued the Tsunami warning system and went to a paid subscription to continue getting the warnings. It is not in my budget to continue with their warnings so I let my account expire.

This earthquake just popped up in my email. It has the potential to make a nice Tsunami.

Watch the news if you think it might affect you.

The government is now charging for an earthquake warning!!! What kind of BS is that? :isadizzy:

I think Dave was saying the tsunami warnings were now on a paid subscription not the earthquake warnings.

So does that mean that next, we will get a "Tornado warning", however to determine if it may affect you, you must purchase a monthly subscription to the National Weather Service. :isadizzy:I better stop this right now before I give the government any more bright ideas.

But that still means that if I'm poor I have a better chance to drown ...

I thought this basic service (protection) is what people pay taxes for ...

No, if you're below a certain income level the tsunami will bypass you.
