That is amazing. I have the Aerosoft NYC and that brought my PC to its knees. So the PC that ran that to me must be science fiction... :salute:

Folks that have it seem to be getting way better framerates than Aerosoft Manhattan X.
There is a demo available, which has lower resolution ground graphics.

Have to say that it bought my 2600k to its knees . OOMs even after knocking the sliders back a notch

Yep, but with the crazy amount of OOMs that have been reported, not worth the hassle for me. NY is a hard place to fly with decent graphics with default, no point adding to that and I have the Aerosooft one also.

I put up a couple of recent screens in the screen shot thread. If you turn off all traffic, blooming, aircraft shading, the OOM's seem to be minimal - but they do happen. I'm running a core i7 extreme overclocked with 16gb memory and don't have too much trouble. GTX 680 graphics. Frames around 20 with all sliders to the right. Some of the advertised photoreal buildings are not.

it looks amazing - but the last thing I need is another reminder that my rig is old and slow...like me, I get enough of that already :kilroy:

...someday we wil be able to run that on full switch from a PC that looks like a cell phone...

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on it.
Looks like he is actively working on a solution.
Manhattan X still brings my newer system to it knees, so if I could find a more frame friendly replacement and keep the detail up, I wouldn't mind.
