Hey guys,
I know there aren't many tubeliner fans here but even so it is really neat to watch any FS developer push the envelope. PMDG certainly pushes the envelope with this magnificent creation.
This 777 will be quite a masterpiece when released. I probably wouldn't get it otherwise, but they are including the freighter variant so I just might have to bow down to the freight dog in me and spring for it. I read that PMDG developed it's own in-house time compression component specifically for the 777, allowing it to slow down for climbs, turns, 'predict' FS's crazy windshear. They realize most people don't have the time to sit in front of the computer for 777 type trips, with this feature, a typical long haul 777 trip would last about an hour or so. Of course it is optional, so folks can fly a full 14hr trip if they want.
