I'm hoping someone has run into this before. I use Google Earth to get an idea of building placements and size and so up until a few days ago it was working fine. Now when I open it, the earth is spinning and I can't find any way to get it to stop, lol. There are two arrows, one on each side of the earth, pointed down and away from the earth. Those have never been there before. Anyone ever run into this before?:isadizzy:

Sorry I can't be of any help here. I use the "other" brand.

Maybe your joystick is interfering with the navigation controls. Go into "settings" and then "navigation", under "none mouse control functions" make sure none of the boxes are ticked. I am currently in the Danish version, so I might have translated the terms incorrectly as I do not know which English terms are used. I attached a screenshot of the un-ticked boxes, I hope it helps:

It is a new Google Earth realsim patch. You couldn't stop real earth from spinning either, so it is implemented now to GE too.

Sorry couldn't just resist with this one:mixedsmi:

But... as montie said, I think you have some controller input set for Google Earth.

Is that before or after the application of the "Flat Earth" patch?

It's a square world.....
