Tuesday i got an offer for DSL
as im on dial up at home i figured id go with it.
last night when i got home a kit was at my door:)
talk about easy,
just plug in the filters to my phone jacks
and one to the modem
start the cd follow instuctions
ie turn on modem, had 2 cables one for network card and one for
usb, it said use network cable not usb
within 3 mins up and running.
I actually got the light version because i have full blown
access at work
but a lot faster than dial up
and now i dont get bitched at for being on
line and using the phone line
Priceless:sheep:

The kid would have to show up at my door with about 10 miles of cable and a couple of nodes............

Hope it works well for you, I know how it was for you, I hate to have to WORK (Maynard G Krebs emphasis) just to get a speedie download.....

thats one or two cd's a day
thats about 25 cd's a month
