Find an airfield with no trees or fences at the end and let 'er rip! What's the worst that can happen? A crash?:d

The designated Gotha dromes are Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Melle-Gontrode and Mariakerke. Go for it! :kilroy:

Hi Guys,

Gimp have you tried to land it? I can catagorically state that you can land an take off in this plane. it has a very low cruise speed, and will slip into a stall if you get tto slow, come in at around 75mph and just as you go to touch down drop the throttle back to 0 and you should be sweet.

For thse of you who have trouble with the roll out and find your running out of space. (I didnt tell you this, just press the B key:wavey:).

Thanks for this wonderful addition:applause:

Unfortunately I can't find it in OFF. I do have the AI version running fine in the downloaded missions but am I supposed to be able to access the Gotha in quick missions flyable or AI?

As it is I can't find the Gotha at all.

I know I followed the instructions and that the Bdp file is not to be worried about.

rattler, go to QC as a hun pilot in any aircraft of your choice. Click "aircraft" to over-ride your default plane and the Gotha should appear on the list if installed correctly. Click on it and the monster appears like magic in all its beastly glory.

Also click "location" and adjust altitude to runway so you can take off. Hit FLY and away you go ....

Hi Guys,

you will need to download some extra files from regs hanger and place them into your gotha texture folder. these are:

gc_gauges_d1.dds
g_stock_gauges_1.dds
gc_gauge_glas_t.dds

these are available at Regs hanger they are part of the GC shared files.

this will enable basic guages for flying.

I am assuming the add-in Gotha would only be useable in Quick Combat and will not show up in the campaign (particularly in P3 with no random spawns). Have I got it right?

No, sorry folks, can't get it into the game. Strange as it appears fine in the AI roles.

Still I imagine there's more mileage in shooting at it than at it:icon_lol:

try extracting all the files to the desk top and then put them in the right folders inside the main game folder.

Rob, I could see "CFS3 blurry gauges fix". Is that it ? Otherwise can you send a link ? Downloading the Gotha was the first time I've accessed regs hanger and I'm not familiar with the setup there.

Hi Guys,

Hmm, The GC shared file link seems to be broken? So I have included a link to the GC Me110 series, it has the 3 guages required.

http://www.regshanger.com/Groundcrew/homepage/CFS3/aircraft/110G4/GC%20Messerschmitt%20Bf%20110G-4.php

Scroll down the page until you see download entire plane, then unzip to temp location and then copy the

gc_gauge_glas_t.dds
g_stock_gauges_1.dds
GC_gauges_d1.dds

to the Gotha texture folder.

Sorry its a big'sh download, but you will end up with a completes set of Bf110's for your WWII installs (ETO is a good addon) as well as the gauges for the Gotha.

I'll ask Greg if its possible to put a small gauge update onto the web site for future downloads of the Gotha.

Hi Scout, your right it won't show up in campaigns, but it will show in QC or 3rd party built missions should they include it as a flyable or target aircraft.

why wont it show up in campaigns? is this hard coded, or can a file be adjusted?

Capt. Winters

Hi SB,

The OFF P3 campaign generator works indipendant of normal CFS3 type campaigns which means it doesnt use random spawn files.

In a planes xdp file there is a section where you can activate random spawning of the aircraft by answering Y or N if you answer No then the campaign (in a CFS3 situation) will never use this aircraft. If how ever you choose yes for the spawn section then the campaign (and missions for that mater) would use the plane based on the date of service, also found in the xdp file of each aircraft.

I cant remember, but I think if you edit the Gotha xdp file to say spawn yes then I think the current P2 campiagn will pick up on te Gotha and you will see it in Game as a target or friendly aircraft, but not a Squadron assigned airecraft.

For P3 though you deffinately wont see this Gotha in a campaign.

regards Rob.

Can't you add this (Gotha) to the tech tree to able to use it or would that mess something up in the campaign because of the assigned squadrons?
