Interesting...we'll see if they succeed. Been burned with stuff like this before...but the concept is rather exciting putting the money aside. Hopefully they model the performance decrease to sustained 4.6G... :P

Very interesting...

I need to look up DCS. I keep hearing about this platform.

You definatly should.

I have all of their modules and it's really studi sim.

Especially the P-51 and Huey are fun to fly.

A2A P-51 and DCS P-51 came out almost at the same time and you can really see how close they are in their behaviour (starting, flying, landing)

And the Huey is IMHO the CLOSEST simulation of a helicopter (apart from their K-50) you can get your hands on, itīs the first I have ever used with a belivable ground effect.

Just for the records my real world flying experiance is some 20 hours of glider flying 25 years ago, so my approach is more or less theoretical, but the DCS stuff feels right.

The only drawback is their limited scenery area and on single player it's basically just flying, nothing else.
Of course there are missions and you can blow stuff up with guns and rockets and bombs.

Multiplayer is fun as well.
